Straw and hay pellet production lines
Don't throw away your matrices - regenerate them and reduce production costs
Straw and hay can be widely used in the form of granules - pellets in agriculture as fertilizers; in poultry production as bedding; and classically - as ecological fuel.
Nawrocki designs and builds pellet production lines with a capacity of 1.5 to 6 t/h.
Is there a cost effective way to keep pelletizing costs lower?
The answer is the regeneration of flat and ring dies - a service offered by NPT Nawrocki, the benefits of which are both economic and operational.
What does the regeneration of flat and ring dies for pelletizing machines and granulators involve?
NPT Nawrocki has over two decades of experience in die regeneration, adapting its services to the needs of a wide range of granulating equipment.
During the regeneration process, the components are thoroughly cleaned of any remaining raw material. This is essential, especially if they have not been previously preserved with a special mixture.
Such cleaning is more time-consuming and expensive, but is necessary to restore the production properties of the matrices.
In addition, grinding and leveling the working surface, removing metal inclusions and renewing the insertion cones restore the dies to a condition close to new.
Reducing the working width of the die and regenerating the working surface are just some of the options available that can be performed as part of the regeneration process. These interventions allow for increasing the throughput and quality of the produced granulate, which directly affects the reduction of production costs.
Nawrocki's statistics indicate that matrix regeneration is economically justified, as the cost of such a service is only 17% to 25% of the value of a new matrix, which is a significant saving.
Our experience allows us to optimize production processes and adapt matrices to specific customer needs.

How to refine pellets to make them more competitive?
Pure straw or hay pellets are used as fuel, fertilizer or bedding. However, we do not stop there - we refine pellets for bedding and fertilizers. By improving the parameters of straw pellets, you will achieve higher profits.
Sterilization of straw chaff
Thermal sterilization of straw chaff is an effective method of ensuring hygienic conditions on poultry farms. This process eliminates bacteria, fungi and other pathogens that may threaten the health of birds. As a result, straw chaff becomes a safe and clean material for bedding poultry houses, supporting the health and well-being of poultry.
Chemical sterilization
An alternative method in chicken breeding is the chemical sterilization of straw chaff to ensure hygienic conditions on farms. This process effectively eliminates bacteria, fungi and other pathogens through the use of specialized chemicals, which minimizes the risk of disease among poultry.
NPK supplement
Adding NPK to straw chaff significantly improves its fertilizing properties, enriching the soil with essential nutrients. Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium support healthy plant growth, improving their development and yield. As a result, enriched straw chaff becomes a more effective and valuable organic fertilizer.
