Conditioners for granulators and pelletizers.

The conditioner is used to thoroughly mix raw materials with technological steam and liquid additives just before pelleting.

Advantages of our pellet and granulate conditioners

Conditioners mix technological steam with the raw material in order to heat and moisten it, thanks to which the raw materials pelletize better. In the case of animal feeds, phytosanitary conditions are improved. They have a steam connection with a diameter of 1" to 2.5" as standard and are adapted to work with the Steam Reduction and Stabilization Unit, which automatically doses steam depending on the efficiency of the granulator

High efficiency and energy efficiency of conditioners

  • A dedicated Steam Reduction and Stabilization Unit operating under AIAC control always guarantees an optimal steam dose for each ton of feed or other raw material,

  • Raw material heating temperature up to 87oC- 90oC,

  • Energy consumption below 1 kWh/t,

  • Effective penetration of bulk feed by efficient steam injection mounted directly at the conditioner inlet,

  • Multi-injection steam provides the highest multi-point temperature absorption,

  • Appropriately set at different angles, the blades mounted on the main shaft efficiently mix and move the raw material with steam, water or another component (e.g. molasses) in the body,

  • Possibility to adjust the conditioning time to obtain optimal saturation,

  • Possibility of using multiple conditioners working in cascade,

  • Process steam and other liquid additives are introduced through a connecting pipe equipped with a manually operated shut-off valve.

Low operating costs and long life of conditioners

  • Body made of 0H18N9T stainless steel with a thickness of 4-6 mm,

  • Bearings on own reinforced bearing housings

  • Galvanized main conditioner bearing housings,

  • SKF or other highest quality bearings.

  • Sealed to prevent leaks, ensuring complete hygienic safety.

  • Double or triple inspection doors, mounted on hinges; secured with screws against unauthorised opening; equipped with opening signalling sensors.

  • Blades: Properly designed blades with easy and quick angle adjustment thoroughly and effectively mix the raw material with steam. They are made entirely of acid-resistant steel. Balanced to eliminate beating.

  • Main shaft: structural steel with increased chromium content, optionally acid-resistant steel.

  • Insulation: All feed conditioners are insulated with heating mats.

  • Drive: belt via gear motor; constant speed.

Safe animal feeds production with NPT conditioners

  • Made of acid-resistant steel (body and blades),

  • Full tightness of connections with the screw feeder and the granulator feeder,

  • Possibility to control the quality of feed thanks to the variable angle of the blades for different recipes,

  • Possibility of using an inverter for the main drive,

  • Raw material temperature measurement sensor at the conditioner discharge,

  • Adjustment of the amount of supplied steam based on the temperature of the raw material measured at the conditioner outlet,

  • For feed, a temperature sensor with a pneumatic self-cleaning system (frequency set by software),

  • Through the AIAC system, full integration of control with the granulator, screw feeder, sterilizer and the Steam Reduction and Stabilization Unit,

  • Programmatic feed temperature limitation when sterilizing formulations containing enzymes (AIAC).

Optional equipment for conditioners

  • steam manifold with multiple injection points,

  • additional nozzles for dosing additional liquid components,

  • Ø100 connector for removing excess steam (for biofuels),

  • additional one or two conditioners working in cascade (vertical or diagonal configuration).

Long-term conditioners

Double Conditioning: GR granulators can be equipped with a double extended conditioner, which extends the conditioning time to 30-40 seconds. This is a low-cost alternative to partial sterilization of feed. However, full sterilization requires the use of a sterilization unit.

Technical data of Nawrocki NPT conditioners

What technologies are behind the production of high-quality feed or biomass? Conditioners are at the heart of these production processes – devices that play a key role in preparing raw materials for further processing. NPT Nawrocki, a leader in granulation technology, offers advanced conditioners for granulators and pelletizers that not only raise production standards, but also effectively respond to modern industrial challenges. Thanks to innovative technical solutions and the use of the latest achievements in engineering, NPT Nawrocki conditioners provide optimal conditions for granulated materials, which translates into the efficiency, quality and safety of the final product.

NPT Nawrocki – pellet mill conditioners

What are the features that distinguish NPT Nawrocki granulator and pelletizer conditioners from the competition? Our company, known for the innovation and durability of its products, offers a wide range of models that are an important element in the granulation process of various materials, including feed, biomass and plastics. These conditioners are designed to thoroughly mix raw materials with technological steam and liquid additives, which is important for both the quality of the final product and production efficiency.

The main advantage of NPT Nawrocki conditioners is their ability to optimally mix process steam with the raw material. This not only improves the granulation process, but also provides better phytosanitary conditions for feed, which is important in the feed industry. These conditioners are equipped with steam connections of different diameters, which allows for adaptation to different systems and production needs. In addition, the company offers the possibility of working with the Steam Reduction and Stabilization Unit, which controls the steam supply depending on the granulator's efficiency.

High energy efficiency is another advantage of these devices. Thanks to low energy consumption, which is less than 1 kWh per ton of raw material and effective feed penetration through efficient steam injection, these conditioners are not only economical but also effective. Multi-steam injection ensures intensive temperature absorption, which is necessary for proper preparation of the raw material before granulation.

Longevity and low operating costs are ensured by the use of high-quality materials such as 0H18N9T stainless steel and components such as SKF bearings. This makes Nawrocki NPT conditioners not only durable, but also easy to maintain and hygienically safe thanks to appropriate seals.
