Each granulator component has been designed to minimize the risk of machine damage and operator injury. In addition, we have implemented solutions that significantly improve the comfort of the operators' work, and consequently, the speed of returning to work. Machines designed and manufactured by NPT are made of the highest quality, certified materials and mechanical, electrical and electronic components. They meet EU standards and directives. Since 1996, we have been working in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard. The system is annually recertified by Dekra Certification

SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS

MECHANICAL SOLUTIONS

ELECTRONIC SOLUTIONS

  • An electronic voltage disconnect switch in the overload clutch assembly prevents serious damage to the die in the event of the roller-die system becoming blocked by a foreign body or the pelleting unit being overloaded.

  • The electronic voltage switch on the granulator body disconnects the power supply when an attempt is made to open the granulation chamber cover,

  • Rear doors secured with a key and opening sensors that immediately stop the operation,

  • The LCD control panel on the boom attached to the granulator body allows for quick operator response,

  • A complete set of sensors and a controller controlling the operation of the granulator

Construction of the complete roller installation unit

The construction of complete rollers in GR series granulators prevents them from seizing and causing problems with disassembly. Each roller is mounted on a rigid sleeve mounted on the rear roller holder. Its assembly consists in inserting the roller onto this sleeve and pushing it to the stop. The front roller holder is made with double support on thickened pins.

Magnetic separator

The GR 550, GR 650, GR 750 and GR 850 granulators can be equipped with a magnetic separator (neodymium magnets) that protect the die and rollers. This magnetic separator, in combination with other safety devices installed in the production line, guarantees continuous and safe operation of the granulator. In the case of low-density raw materials, the separator is not used because it can block the granulation chamber feed.

Belt Tensioning Single Unit (BTSU)

BTSU is a very practical and safe belt tensioning system that protects the granulator from possible damage caused by inaccurate or uneven adjustment. All belts of one engine are tensioned by one tensioning screw, not two. Our solution prevents incorrect belt tensioning, which extends their service life and shortens the granulator changeover time.

Automatic Overload By-Pass (AOBP)

The automatic bypass is mounted on the granulator hopper and is activated by a pneumatic actuator in the event of a sudden increase in the load of the granulator main engines; the automation immediately cuts off the raw material supply to the granulator chamber and protects the rollers and the die from blocking and unwanted downtime

Pellets Quality Probe Chute (PQPC)

Immediate, easy to use and safe access to fresh granulate is possible through a sampler mounted on the cover of the granulation chamber. This is a specially shaped discharge that, when tilted, releases the appropriate amount of granules into the container placed underneath.

Electric Die Hoist (EDH)

The EDH unit facilitates the replacement of the die and rollers. Its design allows for quick disassembly and assembly of the die and components such as rollers, reinforcing ring and sealing ring. It is a perfect complement to the Die Slow Rotation System (DSMS) and the Quick Die Disassembly System (QDES.60).

Easy and safe access to the pelleting chamber

The pelleting chamber cover opens over 170o and allows for the free operation of up to 2 or 3 operators if necessary. Cover hinged on the left or right side.
